I need a step by step run through of...how to hook up dual hard drives in my computer. I was talking to a producer and he was telling about how he has one hardrive doing one thing and the other one doing its own thing. If anyone is familiar, in that area please elaborate on this. My goal is to get the best performance out of my computer.

I've already decided that I want to rerecord the rhythm guitars because they just have a bit too much fizz in them that I can't seem to eq out. But, my bigger concern (call it frustration), is that I've literally spent hours upon hours trying so many different Micing combinations to get that in your face rhythm sound and it's just not there.

i'll be using these for drums on varying styles of music, mostly rock and trip-hop. any thoughts? thinking drums only, mind you!

Preparing to buy either a pair of CMC5/MK4 or CMC5/MK21 to fill in a gap in my mic collection. I do not have a cardioid pair and very occasionally need an ORTF pair to tame an ordinary acoustic.

Now the question is, which capsule to buy. I dislike cardioids, but need to maximise my reach with this purchase.

I typically place the mic one inch away from the grill and point it where the cone meets the center dome.
