32bit Float to 24bit fixed?

Last night I went to see a band that had a horn player. I quickly realized that if I were gonna record a band like that, shouldn't I get some sort of "clip on " mic. For doing horns, live.
Doesn't Sennheiser make a clip on? Or is the Audio-Technica pro 35ax the way to go? Or which other mic would be good for doing horns and such?

I have quite an extensive archive of ADAT SVHS tapes that due to the local environment (high humidity) are almost unplayable. Some clients would like me to remix them but in the interI'm I would like to clean them up. Has anyone here ever had to restore old ADAT SVHS tapes and remove mold?

It seems that the Portico Range will not be the only series by new Rupert Neve designs. According to a report on http://, Portico will be the most economic of three different product categories.

Does anyone know more about that?

-Reverse cymbals (I find this a very cool effect.)
-Old radio frequencies
-Fading in guitars from hard left to hard right
-Whispering effect
-Backwards talking
-Added sirenes

Hi, i want to know the real quality of the isa 428 converters, with which other converters could it be compared to? Are they similar or better than the Digidesign Hd Series? Please if anyone of you have used it let me know your opinion.
