I've been trying to open mp3's lately but I get all this converting information.. and when I try to convert, I get static sound. I've seen people open mp3's easily on cool edit pro. Why am I seeing this?

there is a chevelle song called Emotional Drought off their newest album. can anyone give me and idea of how they got the toms to sound like they do in this song.. wow they sound great. andy wallace is such a great mixer. specifically the micing.

Hi all! I know these won't fit the "exclusive pro" standard, but how would you rate the event 20/20 bas V2? I've heard the old ones, but not the new. I allways thought the oldies deserved a second look, they weren't all flat but, once you got to know them, and to know how they handled lo freqs, mixes would translate very well. So I'm curious about the new ones...

So I was reading that PZM's have no proximity effect. I understand they also have no directionality to them.

Therefore I was wondering if anyone had tried them in the role of drum overheads, and how they do in that capacity?

Seems like you'd get a situation where your overheads had the whole spectrum, with a lot of 'room' in them.
