I have recently come across a Digigram PCX440np 4 track PCI card. I believe that these are aimed at the broadcast market, but I would like to use it for music recording/mixing, as it seems the hardware is very nice.

Anybody useing/heard these? Care to comment on how they sound?

Also.. how can I change my password? The supplied one is very hard to remeber! I had to get it to email it as I am at my other house, lol!

I'm Wondering if anyone has had any luck with a particular rackmount PC case to house their DAW.

At the moment I've got a rather noisy tower and was thinking about a rackmount option with some quiet fans.

I'm recording a live project through a Korg D1600. I've got 8 inputs with 8 outboard pre's, but I need 12 or 13 inputs for one band. I'm looking for recommendations for a mixer, say for running drum mics. Something with 4 stereo XLR inputs. The key... I'd really like the best pre's I can get on the board. Anyone got a good recommendation?

Hi guys I've been using Autotune for processing and I know how to use the program except for saving. I'm using graphical mode so i can be really precise and make it sound as real as possible, problem is everytime I save and Exit and come back later its completely erased. The traked graph is gone and so are the pitch corrections I have made.

I am recording a sax. I have a sm58 and a condensor mic. This is a home studio. No isolation. Any thoughts on best Micing technique for my situation?

Which preamps should one consider for a contrasting "character" from a neutral preamp?

My condensers are bright with neutral coloration, and I also use SM57 and ATM25.
