I'm new to setting up gear and I'm trying to figure out how to set up my board to my computer so I can record 8 tracks into pro tools, then play back from pro tools and mix on my board.

I know everyone recommends - Bryston, Hafler & Crown but I have a Samson Servo 200 and was wondering if the spec is ok and won't cause any problems.

I'm becoming somewhat obsessed by the bass in movies... and how that sound design can be transferred to audio recording/mixing. I used to think it was only in flashy FX movies, but now I realise that it's just become S.O.P. for -all- movie recording. It is larger than life... especially... in Americana or acoustic settings.

I can't find or remember where I posted a similar thread so I'll just throw this one in for giggles. I was seeking info on some other subject when google sent me to AKG and I found the page good enough to link here for some of the beginners to large/small ensemble acoustic recording.

ive had the Great River hooked up with the fmr using the patch jack.

but now where does the voiceworks go?

and what wiring do i need and how to hook it up? :confused:

Do you notice a sound coming from your VIZIO flat screen on certain edit windows, scrolling etc?

I here a really annoying freq at times. I wish I could figure out why it does this and stop it. I think its when the screen is fuller, more pix-elated.
