Portable interface advice.

Hi all,

My Alesis RA300 amp isn't functioning correctly. It's out of warranty so I'm free to bring it, or send it, wherever I want. Unfortunately no locals have experience with this amplifier.

I had a 6 channel mixer and a MXL 990 mic for less than a week and it got stolen before I could even mess with it. I rap (the kind that actually requires talent instead of autotune even lol) and I'm running Acid Pro 4 on an XP and basically I need to know what I should be getting as far as equipment goes. I'm on a budget and my price range is probably a couple hundred MAX.

How do you like your Orpheus? I would love to own one.
Have you compared it to the FireFace 800 or other interfaces?

Okay, I need something to record digitally with no feedback that I can plug into the computer AFTER recording. Any suggestions?

Okay, I need something to record digitally without needing a computer while recording, and can hook up to a computer to edit and whatnot, and it must sound good (what I mean is no feedback), and it can't be too much. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to hook up my PreSonus Dual Path Bluetube to my laptop for recording, however there is no USB or firewire. There are some quarter inch jacks and some XLR male inputs, but I need those for the microphones. Does anyone know How I can hook this up to my laptop in the cheapest way? This is all the input and outputs it has available.

I have a Yamaha MG24/14FX mixer and I want to link my Peavey MP 4 powered mixer to it so that I can have 4 extra channels. I still need to make sure I can control my monitors though and I need all of the sound from both boards to come from the same speakers that they would have originally. I am using a Yamaha p1600 power amp.
