Can't correct cymbals phasing issue
Forums
I'm trying to restore some old tracks that i transferred from years ago into Cubase5. Does anyone know how I can repair really bad phasing issues on just the cymbals? I only have 2 drum tracks to work with (a kick & overhead). I isolated every other part of the drum on different tracks to sound good.

Nagra III recording Q
Forums
Hi all,
I just got a Nagra III reel-to-reel recorder. Does this machine have an internal
microphone? Or do I need a plugin mic?
Thanks.

mono gtr tracking
Forums
I just got my bi directional mic. Anyone here use m/s technique for only one guitar player, and don't want to double guitar parts, or have the gtr get in the way in the mix. Seems real interesting, because you can sort of choose the width of the mono guitar it seems. at least in theory, since i've yet to try it.

Midi Editing Paradigms
Forums
Please forgive my ignorance on this topic. There are some assumptions here based on the packages I have used. I don't like using the word "paradigm" but it fits here. I am using the word paradigm to broadly descrive the approach that a particular DAW has when it comes to editing midi sequence data.

Forums
Ok dumb noob question I know...but Ive only been taking mixing seriously for a little less than a year.
Anyhow, I didn't even really think that it mattered. But I remembered reading SOMEWHERE that u NEVER have the master fader higher than the channel faders. or was it VICE VERSA?

Setting up basic studio in basement
Forums
Hello
As the title says, I'm moving into a new house with a few friends in a couple of months and I would love to be able to convert the basement into a small, basic recording studio. I would like to be able to use some vintage audio equipment to do some decent quality recording.
The room is of a decent size, roughly 5metres x 6metres or so, and is quite soundproofed.

Mojave MA-300 - Remotely controlled, continuously variable polar pattern selector
Forums
I'm looking over the Mojave website and see they have their new MA300 online now. What I see different is the remotely controlled, continuously variable polar pattern selector.

Digital Remote reel-to-reel repair?
Forums
I have an old Sound and Vision mini-loc sv-1000, it's a digital remote with two memory setpoints, it was a retrofitable unit on a lot of reel-to-reel units. I can't find any info on it anywhere, i do have a basic info pack with it but mine's not working and the info is kinda sketchy. Anyone know anything about them or where to find out more. .i've googled like crazy and found nothing.
