I need your opinion!

Good day fellas, I recorded a short melody with my cello and guitar. I would love for you to check it out and give me your opinion on it. This is a work in progress and I wanted to see how I am doing so far. Please give me a constructive criticism - one that I can learn, and build up from. I also am aware that I am not good at the guitar, cello is my main instrument.

BIG--> Why do MAC's tend to have less issues than PC's ?

I have been doing more research on the laptop I want to buy for my home studio. I originally was looking at a PC because I am accustomed to them. I was probably going to buy a decked out Asus or Toshiba. After looking more thoroughly, custom computers like Rain, ADK, and PCaudiolabs seem to be the way to go and a Macbook Pro is even better.

Tips for establishing a local following and report with local venues

I started an indie band last spring and, after several member changes, we have put together a pretty good set. We have played allot of miscellaneous shows in surrounding cities that range from battles to sorority events at kstate, but it doesnt seem like we retain any fans from our shows and i havent been able to really establish a report with venues.

plugged up

i just got finished a fun live session, on my trusty porta studio, using regular soft ear plugs. anyway its an hour later. i'm thinking about how often i need to re-new a custom pair of plugs. when i get a set, how often do i need to update i guess every 5 yrs avg?

should i or shouldn't i, sell three preamps to get 4/8 channel rack mount

I need to consolidate 3 preamps that aren't rack friendly. I have an api 512c, purple biz, and a groove tubes brick. I want to be able to replace those with a one or two space, 4 or 8 channel preamp. what do you recommend. I want to be able to have all my interfaces and sh*t in a 10u case for ease of portability between my three locations I record at.
