I have a Korg Nx5R that is like-new. I've been storing it for awhile but need to move and could use the cash. Does anyone know the value of this module in excellent condition? (Or can recommend a better venue for me to check?)

So I've been recording these two fellows for awhile and was wanting some advice. I have been using Audacity, with a Tascam US-144 and a RODE SM6 mic, shock mount, and RODE pop filter. Here is a song that has been recorded http://www.youtube…. I personally am not happy with how my vocals sound.

So here's a question that's been bugging me for some time. Say I have a song I've recorded in 48k, I bounce it (mixdown) to both a wav and an mp3, without downsampling to 44.1 so I can maintain as much quality for mastering.

So I am looking to upgrade. I currently use a Yamaha Audio gram 6 which basically only allows me to hook up my guitar (gibson j45) and mic (Shure sm57). I record using abelton live 8. I am looking to record me and my friends playing. So a Guitar, Bass, Mic and my electronic drum set would be nice as well.

this is my first post so be gentle. ive been using project 5 version 2 for a bout 6 years now and have just gotten into sidechaining. ive pretty much figured it out except the bass track always muddies up the entire mix.

I have vintage Alesis Monitor One near-fields, which are unshielded. One of them has to sit right next to my vintage Zenith System 3 monitor--the layout cannot be altered. The monitor affects parts of the screen, depending on its angle, leading to my questions:
1) Will the monitor proximity cause damage to the screen, even if the TV is off?

First post here. I'm slowly getting back into the home recording arena after a hiatus.

I'm very intrigued by Pro Tools 9 and its ability to handle other audio interfaces. I used to record on a Digi001 but that's been on the shelf now for a few years. That being said, I'm also looking at other DAW's (reaper, logic, etc.).
