We're starting a publishing company that will focus on Indie artist of several different genres, and want to know what basic questions should we ask the PRO's when deciding the benefits of joining all or just one...We're leaning toward SESAC because we've heard they're more indie friendly than the others, but would love to have a good base of questions to throw at the PRO's prior to joining.

Friend of mine got this CD from a guy, when you play the CD on any standalone CD player, plays fine but when played on any pc you hear a "wind" like noise in the background, I need to get this song in mp3 format, how can I do so please?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and recording in general, but I was hoping someone here could help me. I just bought some infrared wireless headphones thinking that they would allow me to use the metronome in Ableton Live without having it appear in my recording, but to my dismay it's audible - even if I record and the microphone wasn't on.

Had a new customer come in today. They have a producer, this is my first time with a producer and I'm not sure where my boundaries are. I've asked them to ask the producer what exactly he will be doing with them and what I'm to expect to proceed. I own a home studio and do this in my spare time so I'm not sure if this is going to be a great idea.

I recently purchased an E-MU 0404, and when I have it plugged in, I can listen to files as long as I have Reaper opened and have put the file ON Reaper. Otherwise, I repeatedly have to unplug my headphones from the E-MU, and into my PC if I want to hear music, and back into my E-MU whenever I want to record. Is there a way to listen to the sound on my PC through the Audio Interface?
