SONY Sound Forge: How to Adjust Pitch to a Backing Track?

In SONY Sound Forge, I'm using the Pitch Bend effect to make many adjustments to a vocal track, but I need to SIMULTANEOUSLY listen to the backing instrumental track to ajust the vocal. How can I listen to 2 audio tracks at the same time while adjusting only one of them?

Pricing on an OLD vintage mixer?

I don't know if anyone could help me on this. .but I've had this old mixer and extender sitting in my basement for a few years. I decided to put it on Craigslist, but I have no idea what it is worth. and can't find ANYTHING about it on the interweb. I thought it wasn't worth much, so I put it up for $50. .within an hour I already had a bunch of interested buyers emailing me.

Quick question about backround music.

When recording vocals, I often hear that the music in the backround is very bad quality.

How can I record my vocals, while haveing good backround music?

Do I need a speacial program to record the music in the backround?

Do I let the mic record my voice and the backround music?

Thanks for the help

Anyone ever try to work entirely in Fruity Loops?

I'm going to try doing it, using direct in through my firepod on electric guitars / bass, then modeling through guitar rig. For acoustic guitar / vocals I would use an NT2-A. So far the audio recording seems pretty damn good, and the fact that I have good EQ, real time plugins, and much better options than Adobe Audition 1.5 that I was using before, I'm hoping it will improve my stuff.

Creating, what I guess could be considered a 'wind fade'

So I'm producing this song for my band using Logic Studio. I'm trying to create what my guitarist and I refer to as a 'wind fade' to fade in his guitar solo. If you're curious as to what I'm referring to listen to 6:48 of Master Of Puppets to hear how Hetfield's voice comes in. It almost sounds like the first note he sings is stretched out prior to him actually singing it, but it's not.
