How To Take Care Of Live Equipment
Forums
Long story short, I'm running quite a bit of sound lately and I'm finding it difficult, a pain, and risky hauling all of my equipment (speakers, amps, effects, mixer, etc) in the back of my pickup truck. I'm going to start looking into a small 5x8 enclosed trailer that I can pull. My goal is to be able to not only use the trailer to haul everything, but to also store everything as well.

Latency nightmare with Adobe Audition
Forums
I've been dealing with this problem for nearly two years and I'm finally reaching out for help. My drum tracks are sounding out of time no matter how precise I play so I recorded myself tapping along to Adobe Audition's metronome and upon playback I discovered that the tapping is out of sync with the metronome to varying degrees as playback progresses.

Looking for Mixer
Forums
I am trying to find a nice 12 or 16 channel mixer, but I am not quite sure were to begin. I was looking on Musicians Friend at some Behringer mixers and some Mackie mixers, but I am not quite sure of the extra features I would need. I would prefer a table top mixer.

Brushes on jazz snare - tips? help?
Forums
I recorded drum tracks for Misty with my jazz group last night. Among several other problems we are having with the song, I'm not really satisfied with the sound of the brushwork on snare. I'm using a SM57 on the top of the snare, NT5 underneath (useless for brushwork) and SM81s for overheads. The overheads pick up a cool sound. Very old school.

Audient vs my current pres?
Forums
Hi,
I'm currently using an ART MPA Gold, M-Audio Tampa and DMP3 as my pres.
I mainly record vocals and occasionally guitar and bass.
I've read that upgrading the tubes in the ART MPA Gold makes a big difference to it's performance so I'm torn between upgrading these or selling all my pres and get the Audient Mico?

Kinda like chasing your own tail.
Forums
I realize after presenting this problem, I'm gonna walk away feeling lame, but I am out of time. I recieved a Tascam Us428 controller and I use FL Studio 5. I have done all the hookups and config. that I can see to do. The program is responding to all the commands from the controller, and outputs the signal to monitor but is not recording.
