An old but reliable Langevin.

I have a budget which I have to stick to. Got a grand to spend on the best value preamp I can get.

This is just one of the things I am searching for, but need to sort out the front and back end first.

I'm sound guru at a few small outdoor music festivals (500 people) throughout the summer. My current system is too small now, so we've thought about renting. Then I thought, why not just buy it?

How do YOU optimize Windows 7, 8, 10 for Music Production?

I'm running sound for a band in a few weeks that just got a Shure PSM-200 wireless IEM system and I was wondering how to set this up. I have a Yamaha MG166cx mixer and normally run floor monitors through Aux 1.

I have a pair of decent headphones as it stands right now, they were about 50-60 bucks a few months ago. They are consumer phones, and do not provide flat (or anything near it) response. So rather than dropping 500 on a pair of KRK 8's at this time, I am looking to upgrade my phones. Looking to spend around 200, hopefully less.

On my Yamaha MG166cx mixer, Ch.9/10 and Ch.11/12 has an XLR and L/Mono & R inputs. why cant I use these for mics like Ch 1-8?

I have looked all over the internet and can't find a full-sized MIDI organ pedalboard for under $1300. I can't image why it would cost that much so I was just wondering if anyone had any information on something cheaper that might work. Thank you.
