Problem while doing audio mixdown to a midi part in Cubase SX3 + Nuendo:

I just got Cakewalk Sonar 8 and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good synthesizers? I love automating synthesizers and making my guitars and bass sound crazy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any input on the Electro-Voice pl33, its in one of their drum packages, but it's available for like 120 on zzounds and musicians friend.

I can't find anything about them online.

Looks like they just came out last year. No one seems to know anything about them, but they are cheaper then the 52a and the PG52.

I have a M-16DX digital mixer/interface I want to record with. It has 16 balanced line ins (4 with mic preamps).
I plan to buy a Nady PRA-8 to add some more mic preamps, and an 8-pack of short 1/4" cables. I hear it does have balanced outs, but the distances are short anyway. Should I go TS or TRS 1/4" cables? I want to maximize flexibility of things I can connect with them.

Hey All! Im new here to the forums. I have a question. I am thinking of buying a PreSonus FP10. I still dont understand the difference between the first two ports and the rest of them. It says that the first two are Mic-Instrument ports, and the rest are Mic- Line. I dont understand the difference. I will be recording a full band with this. Here is my setup=

I am having trouble hooking up my antares avp-1 through my m-audio firewire 1814 while recording into logic. I have my mic connected via XLR in the front mic input. Can anyone explain how i can get this working?
