Anyone recommend a good STRING synth?
Forums
Hello,
I'm running logic 7 and I have a Korg triton. I am looking for the most realistic string sounds. Anyone know of a good software for that?

Behringer Ultra-DI problem
Forums
Hi,
This is my first post here, so sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I have a problem that I hope you guys can help with. I have a number of Behringer Ultra-DI. For some reason these DI's no longer work with phantom power but when a 9 volt battery is inserted it is fine. I assume that the phantom power section of it is blown.

Thoughts on Rane VP-12?
Forums
Hi,
Has anyone on here used the Rane VP12 voice channel?
I have the possibility of picking one of these up at a good price but don't know anything about it?
I'd also have to sell my M-Audio Tampa and possibly my DMP3 to buy it.
Would this be a good idea?

Drum editing?
Forums
Just out of curiosity how long would you say it should take to edit drum tracks? Basically i have spent probably somewhere between six and eight hours editing every drum hit for one 3 and a half minute song. I did not really mess with quantizing the hits because my drummer plays with a click live. So he is well rehearsed and overall the drums maintain a consistent feel.

Analog --> Digital converter for RNP ?
Forums
Greetings.
If I have some modest mics (SM-57, SM58, AT-2020) feeding an RNP preamp, what would be a comparably cost-effective way to get the signal to the computer with decent fidelity?
Thanks.

Building new home studio, looking for more pro sound
Forums
Hi there, this is my first post. I am building a new studio. Baiscally I'm lucky to have a spare house untill May.
In this house there is a large bedroom and a small boxy type room. I am looking to turn the large room into a recording room and I don't know about the box room yet.
