Metallica was king of big guitar sounds. They were the first to make it sound REALLY BIG! They used like 8 marshall 4x12, with various mics and a huge tent cover to enclose the sound. The guitar sound you hear on the black album is clean, crisp and dint require a whole lot of dubbing.

Is there a way to record something you play with the midi instruments on Reason onto another DAW? This would be very handy, but I don't know the first thing about midi, so this seems completely confusing to me.

I am using Pianoteq on a PC, hooked up via a TC Electronic Konnekt 24D to a Roland A-80 MID controller keyboard.

I have two damper pedals that support half-pedaling: a Yamaha FC3 and a Roland DP-10. Neither of them is working properly with my system.

Alright, so I just purchased an Echo Audiofire 8, as well as Sonar 7, and for some reason, Sonar 7 won't recognize the Echo interface, so I'm completely unable to record anything. I'm getting output from the interface, so I know the hardware isn't broken or anything. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I know nothing about recording but I'm looking to go to school for it soon and I was wondering. When I'm done with school how much would it cost for me to setup a little studio of my own? Nothing outrageous.. just the basics as to what I would need to keep my skills sharp and keep busy. Thanks

I want to record our band soon - live takes - Big sound

So far the results from my guitar demos have been very poor - Everything is as I want it except the interface to the computer and the results being played back.

I have an Emu 0404USB great for small live acoustic gigs and practise -

I did a search on Google and on the site and came up with nothing, so forgive me if this a double post. I am almost positive I have seen the answer but cannot seem to find it.
