I wanted some input from drummers and the like on a midi pad, with 8 pads on it. I see Neil Peart from Rush plays on one of these.
Something like the Roland Octopad (in looks) I only need the pads, I dont need it to do any sampling. I dont care if its Roland or not, I just need some input on which are better or which is more widly used.

I have a line on some m1 active monitors, the one works fine, the other only flashes the led light when turned on and then nothing. I'm fairly handy with basic maintainance and repairs, don't mind a little bit of solderetc. anyone have any idea what could be the first thing to look at with this. if it's a total write off i'd rather stay away, but it doesn't seem like that. thanks, glen

I wanted to add a midi pad to a drum setup. I want to do somewhat like Neil Peart. A live drum set with one pad, that has say 6 different indivual pads on it. And it will work with my Alesis DM Pro.
Can anyone please recommend one (or more)?

I need to make some cables to connect my Masterlink to my Soundcraft Ghost. And I don't know if I need 1/4" TRS or 1/4" TS.
The Masterlink is XLR and the Ghost is 1/4".
There are 2 or 3 sets of 1/4" jacks on the Ghost that I can use to send to the Masterlink, but which is best?

I am looking for a $200 - $300 reverb unit to use for live sound for my acoustic trio. To start, it will be used globally on guitars, acoustic bass and vocals (though ultimately I would like to have two units, one for instruments and one for vocals).

Ive been looking for a mixer. Durig my quest I came upon this used Alesis Studio 32 (16 channel in/out 8 xlr, and designed with studio monitoring needs in mind apparently) in superb condition,for about 299.00.. Anyone know how this would compare to a used Mackie in the same price range?

i have a casio ctk-691 and an Alesis mmt-8, my problem is that when i connect ctk-691 to mmt-8 it seems as if i can only sequence drum sounds, but not othr tons, (piano, bass, organ) what am i doing wrong?

I just picked up this unit a couple of days ago for my bedroom/project studio. I only got a couple of hours so far to toy around with it and to my ears the acoustic guitar I was recording sounded a bit wavy.
