Can someone help me out. I've read the manual inside out on my Alesis DMPro, Drumagog, Cubase SX, and my FW1884. What I want to do is replace my recorded kick with a kick in my Alesis. It won't work not mattter what I do. I have in to out and out to in with Midi cable between my FW1884 and the Alesis. I load up Drumagog on the insert of the recorded kick and nothing.

Hello, I'm adding an electronic drumset along with my acoustic set and have started with the Alesis D4 module. The problem I am having, is that every time I punch the exteroir trigger button for each trigger, it is not giving me the option to adjust v-curve and x-talk. It keeps going into hi hat setup. Maybe someone who is experienced with this module can help me with this situation.

I'm a newbie trying to get together a home studio, record 3-4 tracks at a time just for fun...demo quality at best- been reading and lurking for about a month.

I'm looking at getting an 8 analog input A/D converter that converts to ADAT Lightpipe. The AI-3 is looking tempting, and I can't afford an Apogee. Does any have anything to say about the AI-3? I've read mixed reviews online. Any suggestions under $1500?

Okay, I have a question for all of you. Is there anything that compares (in quality) to the Alesis QS8.2. .but is cheaper?

My friend who is in the music industry wants an Alesis QS8.2. I was going to buy him one for Christmas. He had a fit and said that he would not allow me to spend so much money on a gift.

okay, not really one problem. I'm just completely lost. The gist, however, is this:

I want to record my SR16 in cakewalk. I want the tempo to be the same in the software and in the SR16. I don't seem to be able to get cakewalk to tell the sr16 the exact tempo (don't know the technical term). If I just set the two to the same BPM setting, the tempos are slightly off.
