Pro Tools Plugin chain for guitar/bass
Hey all!
Question about where to put my compressor in the plugin chain. If I was using it separately, would it be before, say for example, the SansaAmp or after it? Same question for EQ as well.

Recording classical guitar in mono?
I'm getting ready to record a classical guitarist in my studio. There will be no other instruments; only his guitar. I'm thinking I may record him in mono, and just wondered what you more experienced folks think about that... I've got three decent mics: two AKG C1000s and a RODE NT1-A.

Just Started, Guitar Tone with no amp
Hi all,
I've just got myself a mac, some studio monitors and an Apogee Duet 2. I'm just getting started and so many, many things currently confuse the hell out of me (hopefully all will be clear with time though!).

Cubase guitar monitoring routing/bus
Hi
Does anyone know, how to route/bus a guitar input signal in Cubase, to a specific output channel?
And, if possible, so only the inputsignal is routed (when monitored for example), not the channel itself
I would like to use Amplitube, and get the guitar sound to a guitar amp using Cubase (so I can record the dry sound and hear the wet sound)

heavy guitars, how to find space for the bass?
Hey guys...
Need help with bass guitar tones
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but when I play my bass it sounds like there is more treble when the the treble knob on my bass amp is turned down. How do I get my bass to have the good bass tone when I am practicing and playing in rehearsal? I own a Hofner Icon B Violin Bass Guitar, a Greg Bennett bass guitar, a Stagg amp, and a Voice Pathfinder 10W Bass Amp Combo.

Bass guitar tone quality help
When I play both of my basses (Hofner Icon B Violin Bass & Greg Bennett Bass) it sounds like there is more treble when all of the treble knobs on the basses and amps are off, I also have flat wounds of both of them which made the tone better, but it still sounds off. How do I make the tone quality sound like good?
