4-speaker PA system ... quadrophic controls?

Imagine having a PA with a speaker in each corner. Obviously the main L and R, but also a speaker in the back L and the back R.

Similar to the quadrophonic style home-theatre from a few decades ago,but for live use.

What would it take to be able to move sound from one speaker to another?

Yey another pa question

I've seen pa systems running four speakers while only using and running one power amp also i have been researching pa packages and some offer 4 speakers and only one amp presuming the amp only has the option of 3 speakon inputs how do they connect all four apeakers to one amp and what happens to the spread of overall power and per channel of the amp when four speakers are driven by this one amp

Decent PA setup for sax, vocals, acoustic guitar, and music

Well, I'm sick of waiting for a band to come together, so I think I'm going to rely on some tracks in the meantime. What I was thinking about is getting the 1u rack mixer Rolls RM65, an effects processor probably a Lexicon MX200 or maybe a Digitech GNX4, and possibly a JBL EON G2 15".
