Hi
I have a problem when I'm trying to get my guitar into Cubase...
To all out there with humour, I am talking about the sound, not the physical object... :)
New equipment, trying to figure out best signal flow approac
Greetings! I'm trying to figure out what would be the best setup for the following gear. . There's probably several different ways one could go about doing this, and I've started but have a few questions.. I'm kind of new to all of this but recently had the opportunity to design a small studio for a non-profit. If anyone could help with a diagram or some advice I'd really appreciate it..

splitting signal - the best solution
I want to split my electric guitar signal into 2 lines and doing it cheap and sweet. What can I do? Use A/B switches, Y cables, or any gadgets out there?

Best way to split/mult signals?
Does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to mult a signal?
I need to split 8 channels of audio into 2 each...
Would a Y cable be OK, or would there be significant signal loss or other detrimental effect?
Thanks

DIY Mic Pad/Signal Attenuator
Hello!
I was wondering if there's a good resourse anyone might know of to make these myself. ProCo sells some, but I'm sure it's just a few XLR connectors with resistors inside that I could make myself for far cheaper. I just need to know what I need and how to wire/solder it up.

guitar signal splitter
Hey guys,
wondering what is used (as far as brand goes) when wanting to send the one guitar signal (one performance) to 2 units, ie: sending bass signal to amp and preamp from the guitar.
Is there any particular unit commonly used? Would love to get something that has at least 3 outputs.
Thanks,
Sammyg

Help! Macintosh won't take M-Audio Quattro signal!
I'm an amateur trying to do something very simple and very necessary and failing to get off the ground.
I've got a Power Mac G5 running OS X Tiger (recent upgrade from Panther) and Garage Band. I blew 100 bucks on an M-Audio Quattro to convert my guitar signal from a jack to USB signal. I can't get any guitar signal into my Mac at all. Nothing.
