Help Please... Buzz coming from soundcard
Hello all.
I am new to the forum (as you can see from my post count), but not so new to recording. To put it plain and simple, Vista has thrown me into a whirlwind of confusion.
I tried installing Cubase (wouldn't work), Sonar (wouldn't work), and finally got Magix 2005 to install completely and run.

I've recently upgraded my motherboard to a GA-P35-S3 motherboard. This new board does not see my Darla card in the list of PCI devices in the BIOS. This sound card is from 1997, has anybody ever come across a similar issue before?

Help! External USB recorder/sound card needed
I really hope someone can help me with this problem, I feel like I’ve made some headway but I’m still slightly clueless! Apologies if this post is a bit long.
First off my system: I have a relatively new Compaq 1.6ghz laptop, 1GB mem, win xp sp2, with a crappy internal soundcard, no slot for a new internal one.
soundcard choices for mainly sample based music
I have an opportunity to buy one of these soundcards, but am not sure which is better or if both should not be bought.
I'm just starting out. have a computer and believe the specs will cover what's needed by these soundcards.
