Studio project B1 Microphone

Forums

I have a studio Project B1 mic and I bought a phantom power 48v amp as it stated that I would need one to get the mic working. I used an XLR to XLR from the mic to the phantom power, then an XLR to Jack lead from the phantom power to the mic input port on my computer but the mic still doesn't work. Does anybody know how I can get the mic working? do I need a mixer, turntable or something?

studio projects c4

so ive been using my c4s and i love them. the other night disaster struck as i was using them as over heads and the drummer moved a drum and the over head came crashing down, hit the concrete floor and the shock mount broke in half. ive tested the mic and it works fine. but appart from using JB weld i dont know about fixing/replacing the shockmount. i tried the studio projects so.

Blue Baby Bottle or Studio Projects T3?

I can't decide on one or the other. I can get them for the same price. It will be used mostly for vocals. It will be a backup mic for acoustic guitar too.

I have a groove tubes brick preamps and m-audio octane.

I really can't decide on which would be a better sounding mic(setting my vocal style beside)

Studio Projects B1 vs Joemeek JM27

I'm about to hit the purchase button for a PreSonus Firebox and since all the dealers are competing with each other, they are all offering free shipping and free stuff.

One is offering a Studio Projects B1 mic (which I have heard good things about on this forum) and the other is offering the Joemeek JM27, which I have never heard anything about.
