Hello All,

Could anyone advise if it's possible to set up a midi controller in this way.

I currently have a Alesis VI49 it has 12 knobs at the top which I have mapped, first set of 6 controls tracks 1-6 volume & and second set of 6 controls tracks one 1-6 pan.

What I'm after is a way of shifting banks set so I can map volume and pan for tracks 7 - 12 and so on.

I'm using reaper if it's something DAW specific. Any help would be much appreciated.

Go easy I'm new to midi

Most DAWs have binding functionalities that let us assign a midi note/control to a function of the software.
What you are asking is if the Alesis VI49 has different pages of assignments for the control buttons.
As the manual goes, it doesn't seem to offer this functionality. But check in the VI Editor software if you can assign values to different layers.

What you could do is to assign them all to volumes or gain or pan, depending on what you are using the most.
