Hi All,
This is my first post, great forum so much knowledge!
I'm considering to get an RME fireface800 interface and I've just come to realize that it does not come with dedicated monitor outs. Is this considered bad? And What is the alternative output in this case?

i have - and love - the fireface. Do you need all 8 outs to run directly to your outboar gear?
I've got it set up with all 8 outs running into a patchbay, and then outs 1 & 2 feeding my powered monitors.
Plus, RME's totalmix software lets you mult EVERY channel to EVERY output. It's fantastic!
