OK, I have a Buzz SSA1.1 and a Seb 4000e, so I' think I'm actually qualified to speak here

They are chalk and cheeze. I actually think it would be difficult to get two units that are further apart..... and that is a GOOD thing. It's the reason I have them.
The Buzz is about as clean an transparent as you can get. "Wire with gain" as the say. Very clear, very fast, very true to life. I put my TLM-103 on the Buzz and it's scarey how accurate it is.
The Seb is the opposite. It goes from cleanish (but nothing like the Buzz) to downright dirty depending on how hard you drive the input.

So I really think I have most bases covered.

The Seb is a fantastic unit. Very professional sound and very versatile. I doubt you would be disappointed.
