How different are LCD Drivers? (non-audio related)

I have to repair a Grade Select board from a fuel dispenser unit, and it has a proprietary chip in it which I can't get replacements of for obvious reasons. I can however find similar chips which have the same number of pins, form factor, and are also LCD drivers. What are the chances that these drivers will be interchangeable with the ones I'm looking to replace?

Genelec 1038A 3 Way Studio Monitor Speakers

I have acquired 5 each Genelec 1038A 3 way monitors in excellent condition. I also managed to pick up a Genelec 1094A Subwoofer in the package. These were replaced in 2004 by the 1038B... not a huge amount of difference between the models. These retailed for close to $9K each...

I would consider a qty offer if anyone is game.

Would Love Feedback on this Mix: Sons of Anarchy Theme (Cover)

Hi Guys -- New member here. Relatively new to recording. Here's the latest mix of a project I've been working on and I'd love some feedback. It's a cover version of "This Life" the theme from the Sons of Anarchy theme show. It's a re-envisioning of the theme in a Northern Californian Acid Rock style. Here's the link:

Article: How I Got into Home Recording

This is a recent article I wrote on my journey into home recording. I thought this would be an appropriate forum as it covers some very basic introductory and budget gear that would help beginners find their way into the same. Feedback is welcome as I plan on writing a series of these and am still working with tone/voice on this. Many Thanks and enjoy.

Boss BR1600CD

Forums

Looking for a bit of help. I have a BR1600CD, great machine. I'm having a bit of difficulty with the recording level when I create a V Track on 9/10. I'm trying to bounce two drum tracks, 4 and 8 to 9/10, however the recording level drops to about half way so the drum track gets lost. Just not loud enough. Have tried eq etc, no luck, Can you help?

Where to find mixes, stems of recordings by established artist?

I've been told that there are recordings by established artists available for people to use, ie the entire mixes, stems etc (I'm looking to record some drum covers for my teaching website and I need music minus drums).

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
