I dunno where to go. There's one professional i'm going to contact to try to trade gear schlepping for observation, but as far as self learning goes, i've reached clueless.

Synchronizing Input Samples with Output Samples for Testing Analog Circuits
Forums
I would like to analyze analog circuits by sending a stimulus through it and then recording the output, changing the circuit slightly and then running the test again to produce two *almost* identical .wav files that can then be compared sample-for-sample.
Problem with my setup.
Forums
EDIT: I solved it myself after 4 months of this BS. If anybody else has this problem it's annoyingly easy to fix. Simply go into Mixcraft and click "Sound Device", then tick the box that says "Use High Priority Threads for Audio Engine". It solved both the guitar latency and the weird rotary effect.

Will RODE WSVM windsock fit snugly on a Sennheiser 416?
Forums
I'm told by the Sennheiser distributor there are currently no stocks of 416 windsocks. RODE 's WSVM accessory windsock, compatible with the NTG1 & 2 and Videomic according to their website, looks like it might fit. However they don't seem to sell one compatible with the NTG3 which I gather is their direct competition to the 416.
