I have all of my tracks sounding exactly how I want them, I've done the mastering process and yep I'm happy with that. I want to create the CD layout now but am unsure of how to do this. I would just go ahead and put the Waveson a CD and burn away but I want track 5's end to go IMMEDIATELY into track 6's start with no break in between.

I just started using Ozone and I like the sounds I'm getting from it. I have one question regarding something I've noticed after mastering a song with it, however.

At final stages of mixing projects to send to mastering housing, questions?
1. I look at my Eq curve of the final mix on a RTA realtime analyzer and try to get it as flat as possible. (right now they are pretty close ) Is this a good thing?
2. I bounce my final mixes with NO comp or master EQ on the master buses.

Is there such a beast?

I just did a spectrum analysis of two of my reference tracks, and they both had a frequency cut off at about 17khz. I don't mean attenuation, I mean a vertical line. How is that done? I certainly can't emulate it with EQ.

This is just something I've noticed and wanted to ask about it as I'm about to get my tracks mastered elsewhere.

Who went to this years AES show? What were your thoughts about it?

Basically I'm paying someone to master my home recorded record but as the title suggests it's my first time getting a master done so I don't know what to ask for, request, etc. besides song spacing/how they flow into each other.

Songs are mastered well enough, just need the songs ran through sum/difference to get rid of the conflicting low end on the "sum" track. If you know a place or guy that can accomplish this tast, it would be much appreciated. I would need to send 24bit 48khz wav files via internet to who ever will be doing the job, and then sent back in the same format. Thanks in advance.
