Mindprint Envoice...

Are these units any good? I'm still awaiting on a JLM TMP8 for 8 decent channels of pre (money is coming, coming), but in addition..

I can get one for $350 AUS (Mindprint envoice, Mk1, not the JLM)- would just be nice to have a bit of compression before going to tape (well, hard-disc), and it's an extra preamp...

I track with Vegas (V4)
I edit, mix, and master with Audition (V1.5)

And I'm only spending this bread once!

Does anyone know where you can buy really short power cords for use with a power conditioner in a rack with the other rack gear?

Or is it better to just use the standard 6 ft cords and hook them up each time you open up the rack?

Hi, I'm currently havinf the following problem. My Soundcraft FX16 Mixer won't turn on, I dont know what could this be. I'm using a digi002 between a PowerMacG5 and the mixer. I have a compressor, EQ and Rev unit that I use through the mixer. it seems I'm stucked or just messed up. What would you people recommend to solve this problem.

Some of you have mentioned sequencing tracks in Sonar for use with DFH. What version of Sonar are you using and are you happy with the way Sonar interfaces with DFH?

What i'm really trying to find out is: what top end PC sequencers have a proven track record of success with DFH?
