I've got a Phonic MU 1202 compact mixer and some Shure pg56s and a pg 52 drum mics. I also have a fostex vf80 digital 8 track.

What does everyone think of this gear?

I am unsure if this is in the correct forum. If it is I am sorry.

I have just bought an E-MU 0404 card and installed it on my computer. There seem to be a few problems however which (I am guessing) are software related.

I was wondering what the best way would be to spend $4000 to set up a home studio. Many mics will be needed to record drums. Also, there will be two rooms, a tracking room and control.

I am a Nuendo user and I am looking to upgrade my intreface. I really want to go with the rosettas because everyone is so pleased with them but I have been researching, and it seems that I would have to buy the HD core card to get good results.

Any one see DXB 400 At NAMM 2005 ?

Where should I spend my $1500? I was thinking about getting a nicer large diaphragm condenser mic. I know there is no "Holy Grail" mic, I'm just looking for some suggestions and opinions. I know different mics will work best for different sources and mic preamp's will make a difference. The mic would be used mainly for vocals, and guitar amps, but not room mics.

I got a Shure SM 57 and when i open the mic, there is 2 wires inside, i did read somewere in here, that there is suppose to be 3 wires inside the SM57,,,can anybody help me

I am trying to wire my brothers cabinet so it is 4ohm mono. It has 4x12 16ohm speakers.
