Digidesign bought the assets. It will also be integrated into Pro Tools in a future release.

Should I Build my studio setup around rackmont gear, or are plugins of high enough sonic quality to do the job?

Recently someone asked where they could find cracked plugins I had pointedly ignored this query, not responded or deleted it, for the following reasons:
1. RO can't support the use of cracks.
2. I don't want people to feel like they can't ask questions.
3. I don't want to lecture people.

I am doing a uni assignment on Recording and engineering techniques,
Can anyone point me in the direction of sites with

I'm a newbie.. and just trying to lay down some tracks at home with sonarXL. How do I add a new track that doesn't pick up sound from previous tracks. When I add new track with new instrument I hear the previous on the same track.
Don't flame me. I'm new to this .

I am a long time writer/home recorder, on tape. Am finally attempting to step into digital and assemble a DAW. I have a 2002 model 933Mhz G4 and I have added 10.2 OS X. I record guitar-based/vocal pop and use midi keys and drums. I am really a dumb sh*t when it comes to computers. I have used my peecee for email and buying/selling on ebay only.

My Pro Tools LE on 001 (vers 5.3.1 on Win XP Pro)works and runs OK, but lately I'm experiencing a very annoying problem: when I quit the program I get an error message like this:
