I just got a new POD X3. It has a XLR input as well as 1/4. I'd like to plug an additional guitar into that input. Is it possible to use something like this?

So I did a little experiment today that I've been meaning to do for a while. I've been recording my bass tracks through the SPDIF outs of my Line6 Bass POD xt-pro to my digi 002r. Today I decided to record the analog out simultaneously.

I have spent some time reading in this forum and I am excited to have found this place. I am fairly new to recording and I will share my current setup before asking advice for my future/current plans. At that time you will have learned that I probably have more money than sense and let me add that I don't have a ton of money.

Im trying to figure out the best way to record my amp with this stuff...

Fender delux 112 combo ----> At2020 mic package ---> TonePort kb37 -----> Sonar 6 PE

Im thinking I might want to stereo mic (one on the speaker and the other off in the distance) but maybe I should just do mono tracks and separate takes?

What do you think of these monitors?
