Wanting To Record A Demo

Hello, I am new to this forum and am hoping I can get some help. I sing with a gospel trio. We have a full live audio set up with a 13 channel board, powered mains, wireless mics, preamps , and monitors. We sing mostly with accompaniment tracks. I am wondering if there is an easy way to run a cable from our board through a computer to record, and edit a couple demo's?

Amp Sim for jazz guitar

Thanks to much help from this excellent forum, I am now achieving some great results recording my seven string archtop. I have bypassed the amp completely and am DIing through my very excellent Avalon U5 using both outputs and have a RODE NTK setup in front of the guitar (quite close in front of the pickup) with a Reflection Filter.

Help me start recording my own music...PLEASE

Hi all,

I'm new to this website (read through the forums for the past few days, and just signed up). I've been writing music for the past 11 years, and have worked with a couple of producers, but now I'd like to record and produce my own material. I have the following, equipment-wise:

- Yamaha Motif ES6 Synthesizer

- Marshall JCM 2000 100W Stack

Best Preamp for Audiobook Recordings

I don't mean to be a pest with all my questions, but I really appreciate all the great/useful answers I have received from you all recently!

I am starting to record audio books. I have a PR40 and a laptop and a very good sound room ready to go. From other users' comments, I now know that I need to get a good preamp for my recordings.
