Hi guys, i have an old ADAT model and a digi 001 and i want to know which converters would you prefer. I heard there are some differences between ADAT models, in that case could you specify which model are you tlaking about.

I'm going to purchase a new computer which I want mainly for audio recoording and possibly video editing. I would appreciate any suggestions of whether to get a system with an AMD or Pentium processor. I'm considering going with PCI Express and would like to know if this is the route to go. I'm also considering maybe getting a Power Mac G5. Thank You

All of the bands I've recorded have been 44.1 expect one. I recorded this band at 96K and I noticed a difference, but it's hard to say because it's a completely different band with completely different gear. Is it worth it to record at 96K? What exactly is the difference? I searched to see if this has been tackled but didn't come up with much.

What should the sampling rate on a PC recording software program be set to to emulate the sound on a R to R? I'm trying to get the most sampling without incurring latency using Steiberg's Cubase SL.

We've set up a mini studio which includes a sound room, 24 track mixer and then a pc using Cubase. We are able to record the first track but then get a "soundloop" when trying to get audio out of the pc the same time we are recording track two.

I’m looking at the Roland GR-33 and I want to buy it. Can you guys give me some feedback on how good or bad the unit is, and the quality of sounds.. Thank a lot.
