I try to find more information about this compressor. Any body can help me out ? It's seem that every direction was pointed to 1176

hi guys! Is there any way of "getting" a CD track from a CD and make it a wav file? I know Windows recognises tracks as files, but I've never been able to download them to a hard disk.

there are tons of really interesting plugins but, I can't find anything similar to Aural Exciter or some Harmonic Enhancers. Actually there is a multi band Harmonic Enhancer in Ibuilt Izotope Ozone but I'm looking for another one because of some compatibility problems with my 2 processor DAW. Any ideas?

Guys: i have a projct made in a Mac Pro Tools and now I have the HD I brought from the studio after the mix and want to read the data at home in my PC. I use Windows 2k. Any ideas. A friend told me that maybe there is some kind of program that could help my problem.

This is what I want to do. I want to send tracks from the digital out of my roland 16-track to a laptop. I know nothing about this so I'm wondering what sort of connections I need in order to send it over either a S/PDIF or an optical out and have the computer turn that into a wav file or what ever is necessary when using a program like Pro Tools.

Just curious- anyone tried one? Retail about 1K for one channel :D

My soundcard is MOTU 828 MK2 and I need some mic preamps. Would you rather choose SP828 or m-audio Octan with ADAT? I thing that the only advantige of Octan is that I can have more inputs on my audio interface. What about sound quality? I used crappy Behringer MX series mixer preamps till today, is it big difference?
