Last time I was at a Digi demo, I asked when Pro Tools was going to work on Firewire drives. Imagine my surprise when i was told it already did - up to 24 tracks.

Tuning
Forums
I know the proper way to get a drummer's kit tuned correctly is to have a professional do it, but sometimes that's not an option (usually budget-wise for me) so I'm looking for pointers to tuning resources. I'm a decent mixer, but know jack about percussion. I'd like to get better...I have no illusions about becoming a professional drum tech. Anyone have a dummie's guide for me?

Dear Greg, you dug into you wallet and gave to the cause. Moderators are not expect to do this nor should they feel put on the spot to do so. You guys are the reason RO is here.
BIG THANKS to a guy that has been moderating two forums since the beginning.
Warmest respect Greg
Chris

Patching
Forums
OK, so I'm trying to set up the "studio" into something that I'll be able to use easily for a while to come, and I'm thinking seriously about investing in a patchbay setup.
As a preamble, I'm not new to patching. Back when I was a live guy I lived on a Gamble EX56, which had a very compete, altho flaky, patchbay that was indispensable with the double wide FOH rack we had.
