What do you think of my setup?
Hi everyone, just ordered all my new gear that I've been saving up for a long time.
For the past 6 years I've just been using two PreSonus Firepods.
I now just ordered an Apogee Symphony system, and three Daking Mic Pre IV's, and a handful of new mics.
So a completely new front end..

db25 cable questions for wiring the studio
So here is the deal. I am in the patchbay/cable routing hell part of the whole studio build. I have decided to get a couple of Audiolot 192pt mixbays. I spoke with a gentleman about possibly getting the wiring and boxes in a bulk deal through Audiolot, but the price was a good deal out of my range.

Tascam MTS-30
Hi. Any of you guys ever used one of these? Anyone got a manual for it - or can anyone point me towards a place where I can get one? I want to explore the possibilities of combining regular instruments with sequenced parts. Am using a Tascam MSR-16 as the main machine. Just bought a Tascam MTS-30 from Ebay - but it comes without a manual.
Can anyone help?
Dave.

Budget IEM for home studio
Well, as I am incredibly tight on cash recently, I really have no means of buying studio monitors for home recording. Thus, I have decided on getting a piece of IEM or Headphones. But even for that, I'm on a budget.

Please help me choose an audio interface! Narrowed down to a few options :)
- Hey guys,
Was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for any decent audio interfaces that can also properly drive my AKG K 240 headphones (impedance 55 ohms), I'm using a laptop with pretty good specs for EDM production. Budget < $200.
Also, I only use soft synths so don't need many MIDI inputs, just mainly a headphone out to plugin my headphones!
What is better, enclosed or open control room?
The recording studio which is now 3/4 built, is at a stand still, too many people are in disagreement on how the control room should be, and being that the studio is at the back of a friends house, it's ultimately up to him how the studio is built, but he's stopped the building, because a lot of people say "I played in a band and we never had an enclosed control room, just get a USB mixing des
