Hello everyone! Great news! IOSONO 3D sound teamed up with Sydney Opera House to present a new version of the opera "Die tote Stadt" by Korngold.
Next to our focus on cinema sound we thought it might be interesting how it sounds when an orchestra sound can be heard in state-of-the-art 3D sound technology.

I'm a serious noob when it comes to recording studios. I do realize that most people are starting to sway away from analog mixing though.

First off I'm starting a studio and i dont know much about it. I do know i need to please all types of recording and I want to be able to create top notch sound equal to the best studios in the world.

i have an IMAC, Yamaha receiver and a Focusrite pro 40.

Goal here is to get sound from imac, to Focusrite then to reviever that has a 5.1 system hooked up to it.

firewire from imac to Focusrite right now.

then fiber optic audio cord from Focusrite to Yamaha receiver. i have no idea why its not working.

I finally got my first rack in today. http://www.guitarce… Gator 4u rack case (there will be a second one in the future for EQ and eventually pre's.) It's nice finally having my equipment in its proper place. The problem is, its a bloody mess inside that thing!

Hey guys! First post :D I have a YPT-400 running MIDI into my mother board (No sound card). I tried several things, and using ASIO4ALL gets rid of all the lag, but I cannot use my speakers as an output. Another question, if I want to get into doing this, what are all the parts I would need?
