I am going to buy a computer soon. I want to get a DAW to use on it. I went out and bought some inexpensive DVD's by Alfred Pro Audio so I could get a feel for some fairly common DAWS. In the videos I have watched Cubase, Pro Tools, Sonar. I have one for Logic as well, but have not watched it yet. So, far I like Sonar.

I just got a pair of Mackie MR8s, and they sound fine so far, but I am getting a little static/hum. It's not terrible, but I have to keep the input level on the speakers low so it it's not noticeable (I don't really understand how I set the input level to be honest). I had a pair of M-audio av40s, so these monitors are defiantly an upgrade for me.

Apart from my remote system. Its getting close, I'm making a decision on a new 16 I/O AD DA system and need some clarification help. Tossing between Lynx and RME and need MIDI but can work around this.

ADI8-QS-M x 2 are what I'm looking at. I'm guessing this is the interface (HDSPe MADI card )? How do I interface 2 ADI8-QS-M this to this?

Hi. . I have a Behringer xenyx x1204usb mixer. When I open up Sonar home studio, it doesn't give me the full 8 track input selection or a playback selection for my mixer. I will put an attachment of what it looks like when I try it. If some one could please tell me how to get the 8 inputs and a playback master that would help me so much. Thanks!

I have a pair of 100w practice PA speakers and they have two 1/4 mono inputs. I can only deduce that they are either, specifically for the provision of two different inputs or, one can be use to link (daisy chain) to another speaker or indeed, for either of those applications.

The speakers are driven by a 100w mixer and both mixer and speakers are 8ohm.

thinking about hitting up some Shure DMK57-52s.
Whats the rating on these puppies.
