So I have gone all over trying to find a reason why my recordings through my Studio Projects B1 Large Condenser Mic (through a PreSonus Audiobox Digital Interface) now have a click/crackle sound every 3-10 seconds. It isn't extremely loud, but I can hear it and it annoys the crap out of me. This is all new equipment and it was not doing this on my recordings a month ago.

I am running Cubase 5.

I am looking to upgrade my M-audio Frast Track Pro. I havent had any problems with my M-Audio's product so i was looking at the 2626 but i was doing some research of similar products within the same price range and functionality to come across the PreSonus Firestudio.

I am thinking about releasing some royalty free music similar to what FreshMusic.com does. I would sell perhaps 10 songs on CD for $50.00 (or something like that) for use in 1 production, provided that the music is not used for a show on MTV, Discovery Channel, History Channel, or other show that is not indie. But how much do these shows pay for music?

Well, progress is being made. I am getting ready to change my username on this forum, because I don't think I'm that "Confused" anymore. I think I'll become "Getting It", or something like that, because I'm no long that frustrated with my DAW anymore. Is it possible to use the HD24 just as an A/D converter and feed those optical signals into some kind of ADAT2FireWire-interface that is connected to a computer? Or will the HD24's ADAT outputs only deliver a signal when the respective track is in playback (playing back recorded stuff from the harddisk) mode?

has anyone heard anything on new AA4 for win, i know there is a AA4 Beta mac version
