Annoying Crackle/Click Every Few Seconds

So I have gone all over trying to find a reason why my recordings through my Studio Projects B1 Large Condenser Mic (through a PreSonus Audiobox Digital Interface) now have a click/crackle sound every 3-10 seconds. It isn't extremely loud, but I can hear it and it annoys the crap out of me. This is all new equipment and it was not doing this on my recordings a month ago.

How much do network TV shows pay for music?

I am thinking about releasing some royalty free music similar to what FreshMusic.com does. I would sell perhaps 10 songs on CD for $50.00 (or something like that) for use in 1 production, provided that the music is not used for a show on MTV, Discovery Channel, History Channel, or other show that is not indie. But how much do these shows pay for music?

DPA 4091

Small-diaphragm Condenser Microphone with 20Hz-20kHz Frequency Range
Sleek and sturdy, the DPA 4091 is an excellent omnidirectional condenser microphone that will meet nearly any studio or live sound challenge. With 144dB SPL handling, the 4091 sounds great on percussion instruments and guitar amps

System coming along nicely

Well, progress is being made. I am getting ready to change my username on this forum, because I don't think I'm that "Confused" anymore. I think I'll become "Getting It", or something like that, because I'm no long that frustrated with my DAW anymore. I don't work on it full time, but the little time I have spent on it so far has been fruitful. Here's what I've done:

Using Alesis' HD24 as an A/D converter

Hi folks!

Is it possible to use the HD24 just as an A/D converter and feed those optical signals into some kind of ADAT2FireWire-interface that is connected to a computer? Or will the HD24's ADAT outputs only deliver a signal when the respective track is in playback (playing back recorded stuff from the harddisk) mode?
