Hey! So I'm pretty new to recording,i've recorded in a studio once several years ago, and have messed around on garage band with some old cheap m-audio gear, but that is about it.

I'm looking to record a few things, have a Line 6 PodX3 to handle guitar bass and vocals, but I'm clueless when it comes to recording drums. I'm on an tight budget, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent interface for a 7 mic setup? Any help is much appreciated.

I have a cheap $400 Samick Greg Bennet Series Acoustic/Electric guitar that is about 7 years old. The first 2 or 3 frets are starting to get grooved pretty bad, are really causing issues with the guitar staying in tune. I've had it setup properly, but the issue still exists. I tend to have to tune to a chord, but different chords still make it out of tune.

Okay so here is my problem;

I have a mobilepre usb preamp from m-audio, and when I plug my guitar in to make it go through my speakers everything works just fine, but it's out of sync, aprox .5 seconds to 1 second. This is really irritating when you're trying to record :/

I'm a total beginner when it comes to recording so I need some advise. I'm looking on making a video DVD recording of myself playing for an upcoming audition. I'm a classical double bassist (bowed) so I need a microphone that would work well for a low pitched bowed bass instrument, I'm also not looking to break the bank.

Currently me and my guitarist are recording at home.
How do i import all my guitar tracks into his session easily?

At the moment I'm bouncing to disc each of my tracks
and importing it on his end.
Is there a way to import each individual section instead
so that we are able to do more editing if we have to?
