(UPDATED CONSTANTLY!)
Ive been doing a good bit of research in hopes to build up an effective PA so that I can run sound for bands.
The following is what I have put together for a proper system, but of course many of you are far more knowledgable than I. So, I present you with my plan for you to analyze and critique. tell me where I'm wrong :)

Building new home studio, looking for more pro sound
Hi there, this is my first post. I am building a new studio. Baiscally I'm lucky to have a spare house untill May.
In this house there is a large bedroom and a small boxy type room. I am looking to turn the large room into a recording room and I don't know about the box room yet.
Building a pro studio- Need a little bit of help...
I am building a new studio with some partners and they put me in charge of the DAW and overall recording set-up. I have decided that I want to run Cubase 4 (since I know it in and out) on a custom built PC. There are many more details, but I don't think I need to list out the whole thing for my question.
Building a basic A/V recording studio
I did this back in the mid-80s with a Ramsa console, an RCA patchbayand Otari 2 and 8 track recorders.
Things have really changed. My first attempt to build a digital recording studio was not successful. It worked and the quality was good but inserting and controlling music and sound effects and monitoring have been a complete PIA.
I am going to try again.

New member needs help building new studio
Hello all I am a guitar player, lead mostly and am looking to venture into the recording side of music production. I am willing to buy a few pieces of "good" equiptment and have to piece the rest together in time rather than get everyting needed right away and regret not having what I really wanted.I want to build a home studio that I can record my bands and offer recording to local bands.

Building a new DAW - Help requested!
Folks,
I have a Pro Tools TDM MIX+ rig (Mix+ and 5 Vintage Farms) and I am selling it because I am a home recording guy that cannot afford to upgrade to HD. The MIX+ rig is really a dead end for me - I can't upgrade my computer, I can't use the latest O/S versions, I can't do 96K - I'm basically trapped and I want out...
