Please can someone help me in the selection of an affordable (200- 300 $)
mic for recording acoustic guitar at home.
I am looking at

RODE NT5 (SDC)
Shure SM81 (SDC)
I am also looking at some stereo SDC mics or any other affordable stereo mics. Would stereo makes help in the first place?

Recording Acoustic Guitar on a budget...
The is a 4 year old fender acoustic..
i have a seymour duncan woody, as well as a handful of condensers, sm57's+8's, and i can't get a sound i really am happy with with these obviously, the only one i am breifly happy with at the moment in the Behringer b1. i am a very low budget engineer as i am a full time student. what mic would you recommend for under £150 ?

big guitar sounds like metallica
Metallica was king of big guitar sounds. They were the first to make it sound REALLY BIG! They used like 8 marshall 4x12, with various mics and a huge tent cover to enclose the sound. The guitar sound you hear on the black album is clean, crisp and dint require a whole lot of dubbing.

I need help making my guitar recordings sound bigger.
I have an acoustically treated room. I am using a PreSonus Firepod. I have an SM57 and are using a variety of guitars and amps. I have also used more mics and different mic placements. I just can't seem to get the guitar to sound big on my recordings. This is much more evident the more distortion I use.
