This might be a wide type of question, but I would really appreciate your answers. I plan on starting to learn to master mainly rock albums. I have my own recording studio, but I dont intend on mastering what I record. Im going to master other people's work.

What mastering compressor, EQ, limiter, summin bus, processors, monitors do you use or recommend?

I was just wondering what's the most expensive audio gear in the world.

Is anyone using outboard gear before they go to CD. I am waiting on a FATSO and AD2055 to insert in between the Rosetta 800's ins and outs to come back into waelab and then limit and dither with the Waves U3.

You know...for a while...I've been asking for (& receiving) help on questions related to: well...basically, trying to achieve a pro sound on a (my) project studio budget.

I've got the ear;

So why shouldn't I begin to move up; & start to acquire some quality gear?

How does this sound for a start?

For the last few weeks ive been edging closer to finally buying a digi 002 as the guy in the local recording shop raved on about the value for money of the digi 002 and the ease of learning how to use Pro Tools.

Heres a list of my current gear:

PC

Midi Keyboard

MAudio MobilePre Audio Interface

Mic

Tapco s5 Active Monitors.

Its setup like this :

MIDI KEYBOARD--> PC--> MOBILEPRE--> TAPCO S5

(Mic INTO MOBILE PRE)

I have just brought this bunch:

Access Virus C Desktop Synth
Clavia Nord Lead Keyboard Synth
