USB, AES/EBU,HDMI together?
I need to run at least 2 boosted USB, 2- 8Channel AES and a DVI-D (or possibly an HDMI instead) cables together in about 30-35' of PVC.
Will this create issues like crosstalk, inductance, speed reduction, clicks, clocking issues, bandwidth reduction, RF and other things I may not be aware of?
USB: 1. Houston Controller to/fro MAC
2. Pure 2 ADDA to/fro PC

impedance question
Hi Dave... I have a question about the ADK AP Preamp... I know you have one, so I thought I might pick your brain about on thing in particular...

Impedance question with mic preamps.
I am mildly versed in electronics. I understand that when you plug a mic into a mic preamp the mic expects to "see" or "react" to a specified impedance. I think that you want the mic preamp circuit to be x amount higher impedence then the mic (maybe I have that backwards).

Impedance Matching
I just acquired the PreSonus Eureka Channel Strip. It has a pre-amp, compressor, and eq for one channel. One of the knobs is the Impedance. From reading the manual, it says to adjust the knob to the impedance for whatever microphone I am using. It also says to try different combos to experiment, but that is all it says.

30/50 ohm mics, how to match to medium impedance
Hi,
Old Shure Unidyne Impedance Question
Trying to figure out of I can use this thing with a preamp. I'm not too up on all this impedance stuff - you probably noticed.

High vs. Low Impedance, and why I think the general terminology is wrong
I am sure that as engineers we are all familiar with the terms high impedance, and low impedance. These words are usually used to describe a signal, and the load level that is needed by the signal.
trying to understand "impedance" and "line level"
I'm trying to understand inputs. I have an electric bass guitar that I'm running into a UCA202. The bass is passive and I don't have a pre-amp. Going from the UCA202 to my DAW (Logic Pro), the bass sounds okay.
Determine the cut off frequency of any filter formed from output impedance and input impedance
Say you have a piece of electronic equipment which has an input impedance of 1Megohms, and an input capacitance of 10 picofarads as determined by a ceramic capacitor across the input resistor. This obviously creates an RC impedance filter which will act on any AC entering the device.
Calculating and Metering Total Impedance (Guitar related)
I am trying to calculate/meter the total load I am showing the pickups, but I'm a bit confused. I have a few mods in there to alter the sound of the pickup. The pot is 500k and wired with hot lead to lug 1, lug 2 is output and lug 3 is bent back and soldered to the base. I have 333k resistor and 1000pF cap between lug 1 and lug 2. I also have a 1M resistor between lug 1 and lug 3.
