Here is my problem. I am playing a VSTi piano in cubase(sampletank piano)
When I.
A. Hold the sustain pedal down
B. Press a key and hold it down
C. release the sustain pedal

Have added additional Midi equipment and am planning on upsizing from my current Midisport 2x4 to a Midisport 8x8.

Anyone experiencing any problems with their 8x8 or have other possible recommendations?

well i got some beats playing in general midi but obviously i want something more nasty than gm.

i have fruit loops and have also downloaded a soundfont player but how do i get them to work in Cubase le.

i would like to create beats on the Cubase drum map and hear hits from floops etc i do not want to create in fruity loops and import into Cubase if this at all possible.

when i sit with my laptop and create drum loops in general midi all is fine, but when i hook up to my Lexicon omega and change device set up from asio multi media to Lexicon general midi is no longer audible

I have Just started to mess with Reason Adapted which I got included with my software when I bought my Digi Design 002 Rack however when I launch Reason adapted when I have Pro Tools running it informs me that another program is using the Midi port after I have previously told it (when running it without Pro Tools Running) to use the Digi 002 Port 1 to play into Reasons Sequencer and Digi Port

i've just started putting some of my own ideas into recordings lately and have had one problem i've run across so far (i'm sure i'll run into many more in the future...but these forums are definitely helping to prevent that)

Ight, Ive leared what I need to setup my DAW however, I need some advice on what to buy for my budget.

I need a firewire interface that can handle a digital piano, guitar and mic for less than 300. I have looked at the INSPIRE and some KORG and M-Audio and they all seem relitivley decent but then again I really dont know.

Any suggestions?
