Just got my Sebatron and I have to say
it was well worth it and was everything that was described on this site. Thanks to all for the reviews and inputs.
Now I understand fully the comments of transparent to driving it to be dirty.

How do Sebatron preamps compare with Avalon AD2022?

Hi!

I'm looking to buy a tube pre, either a Sebatron VMP 2000Evu($1499.00) or a Universal 2610($1749.00).
What is the difference in sound quality between the two? Which would be a better investment?

I'm also interested in a tube mic,something in the $600.00 range.What about the RODE K2 or ADK TC . How's the quality/sound on these two? Any opinions?

how do i know that i will be purchasing a newer version; the following quote was taken from an early post from a user who said he emailed Sebatron and this was their reply "The upgraded units feature more gain and refinements. Bottom end response has been tailored . In other words we shaved half a db or so around 120 hz.There’s also an improvement up top around 12khz.

having read all the many posts on here from you guys praising the Sebatron gear - I was pondering on whether or not i should shell out the cash for some of their pre's.

going by dollar prices I reckon I could afford the vmp-2000e. or even thje vmp4000 - but i don't think i'd use all the channels!

I'm using a RODE K2 and Peluso CEMC 6 to record a guitar thru my Sebatron into the TRS in's of the PreSonus Firebox and then into my powerbook.

Is the Sebatron VMP HieEnd preamp?
Is it can be a lots stylz?
