So I am using a Mackie 1220i hooked up to my PC via firewire to Ableton live.

My question in brief is how do I mutlitrack? Here is more details;

When I select my audio input devices in Ableton I see 8 Mackie drivers:

Mackie CH 1-2, 3-4 and so on.
The Mackie CH 13-14 are Aux sends and 15-16 are master.
Ableton only lets me choose 1 driver at a time.

I can record everything from the board with proper use of the AUX sends by selecting the Mackie 13-14 audio input in ableton. I want to have each channel on the Mackie go to an individual track in ableton.Ableton doesn't appear to allow to select multiply input devices.

Any ideas?

There is only one driver. Is this Ableton Live! lite? You need to assign channels to each track. This should be in the manual btw. If this isn't working, you need to set up or enable multitracking ind the devices menu. Make sure you are using Mackie's ASIO or AU driver, whichever the case may be. You may need to enable the vst inputs in devices menu as well. Check the manual on these things and get back if you are still having problems.
