Because of the layout and size of my control room, I have to keep my NFMs pretty close to the corners. I know this exagerates the bass response. My questions are:

1. How much?
2. Starting at what frequency?

If I know that, I can compensate (somewhat) for it with either bass traps or EQ to the monitors. I will probably do the bass trap thing first to see if that does the trick.

The only reference I could find on this was on the Mackie site regarding their "half-space" and "quarter-space" settings on their HR824s where they say -2db @100hz for half-space and -4db @100hz for quarter-space. Obviously, this is just Mackie's opinion and applies to their monitors. If anyone knows or has seen a more detailed study of the frequency curve and how it changes as you move speakers closer to a wall and/or corner, I'd really appreciate the url.
